After the painting "I am Half-Sick of Shadows, said the Lady of Shalott", by John William Waterhouse. This painting represents one of the last that Waterhouse painted in exploring the literary poem "The Lady of Shalott."
The model is one he used over a period of two decades, and even though she has lost none of her youthful beauty, she is seen here as a woman in full maturity.
