A Solid start in Watercolor Part 1 & 2 is a series of classes designed to help you gain confidence, to introduce you to the basic materials, techniques and concepts of watercolor. Each class has a specific goal. The demonstrations and assignments are to help you focus on one skill at a time.
This series is NOT about drawing, that's a huge discipline all its own. Instead, you will be provided reference materials along with line drawings you can trace to use as subjects for each class. That way you will be able to focus completely on the watercolor techniques.
These classes are best done in order, as they build one upon the next. This first introductory portion will cover the materials you will need. They will be discussed in greater depth later in the series.
