How to control the viewer?

In this video, Kevin reveals which colors fight each other. This trio of colors does not work well together and if you put them together, they will subtly destroy your painting. Color talking
Often artists associate a specific color with a feeling. Kevin believes this is WRONG! There is no feeling with a specific color. Color only has feeling and meaning when a color is NEXT to another color.

Color lighting
When painting outdoors in Plein Air, you are washed with color. The yellow of the sun will tend to cast its color over all the items in your landscape. Color puddling
One of Kevin’s keys is to use just a few colors. He will mix them until the color “feels” right.
